The tournament will host 16 teams from the regions of North America (NA), Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), Korea (KR), Japan (JP), Brazil (BR), East Asia (EA), Asia Pacific (APAC), and Latin America (LATAM), vying for a lion’s share of the US$1 million prize pool.

Format:

  • Valorant Champions 2022 is split into a group stage and playoffs, both played in a double-elimination format.
  • Four groups of four teams will face each other in the group stage, with the top two of each group advancing to the playoffs.
  • Playoffs will feature eight teams in a double-elimination bracket.
  • All matches are best-of-three (BO3)
  • The lower Bracket Final and Grand Final series are best-of-five (BO5)
